Episode-by-Episode Review of Lucifer Season One

Image
Hi. How’re you doing?  Anyway, here’s the episode-by-episode review of Lucifer Season One. It’s an American crime/comedy/drama/fantasy show, and is on Netflix. It was created by Tom Kapinos, and stars Tom Ellis, Lauren German, Kevin Alejandro, D.B Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Rachael Harris, Scarlett Estevez, Tricia Helfer, and Aimee Garcia.  Oh, and btw I’ll do one for OUAT, too but I finished the first season longer ago, and there are more episodes. Let’s get started, hmm? Episode One: Pilot Lucifer Morningstar is bored with being the Lord of Hell, so he takes a vacation to L.A. When a friend of his is murdered he joins forces with the good side of the law to bring the killer to justice. My Thoughts: I thought it was a great start to the show. Most pilots aren’t as good as the rest of the show but this was pretty good. I think the cast is excellent, and it kept me watching. The murder plot was done pretty well, and it set the tone for the rest of the show....

October Recap

Image
Hi. Well here’s my slightly late recap of October. First off, let’s see what I watched this October. This was playing at a hotel I stayed at. Normally, all the movies they play are really boring but this one definitely wasn’t. I’ve already seen it, but hey, I’m not complaining. It was actually pretty good. Not a favorite, but my sister loved it. She likes musicals more than I do, so maybe that’s why? I especially liked the special effects. Technically, it’s a mini-series, but I count it as a movie because it’s three and a half hours long. 10/10 stars, though. So go watch it because I order you to! Yes, we watched it again because I got it for my birthday. I could probably quote more lines, now. But, hey, it’s The Avengers, so it’s supposed to be watched over and over again. This was actually the first time I watched it, and I really liked it. Though, I wish Wanda was in it more…….Anyway, I’m starting to like Captain America a little better after this one. I wasn’t a ...

Halloween Movies You Should See

Image
Hi. So how many of you do Halloween? I know some people don’t for religious reasons. It’s pretty close to Halloween so I’ll talk about a few great Halloween movies. I don't really read many Halloween books, but I've seen some great movies. Here’s a brief photoshoot. They’re both pretty great movies. The Addams Family is rated PG-13, though personally I think it could have been rated lower than that, and it’s a great comedy [it also doesn’t have much horror in it]. I think you can see the summary and cast from this picture. I highly recommend it. This is a cool Halloween Disney movie, starring Bette Midler. Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy. It’s rated PG, and is a comedy. You can probably see the summary from here, and it’s a very good movie, with great stars, and a great supporting cast. So, if you celebrate Halloween what is your costume? I have a sort of steampunk style Victorian costume. ‘Till next time!

Reviews of the two New Shows I've been Watching [Hint: You Should See Them]

Image
Hello. So, remember when I reviewed Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D? Well, recently, I have been watching two new shows in addition to AoS so here are my reviews for them. It’s like a fairytale but inside a TV show. How cool is that? The plot overview is that a young woman named Emma Swan comes to a small town in Maine due to her son who she gave up for adoption ten years ago coming to find her, where he convinces her that all the people in the town are actually fairytale characters in our world, who don’t remember that they’re fairytale characters due to a curse the Evil Queen put on the town.  It was created by Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitis, and stars Jennifer Morrison, Ginnifer Goodwin, Lana Parrilla, Jared S. Gilmore, Josh Dallas, Collin O’Donogue, Emilie de Raven, and Meghan Ory. Pros -The plot is really intricate. The details are spot-on, and the pacing is good. It keeps from being too fast or too slow -The casting is great. Lana Parrilla makes Regina Mills/The Evil Qu...
