My Favorites
My Favorites
Hello, how’re you doing? Today, I’m doing a post on all my favorites. My favorites will probably change so I may make more of these types of posts later. Anyway, shall we get started? Here’re my all-time favorite…….
Books
This book was sooooooo long but it was really good. It’s a sci-fi novel about a girl named Spensa who wants to be a pilot, however her father was a deserter but she doesn’t believe that it’s true so she has to work really hard in flight school, and try to figure out what her father was really doing. I totally recommend it, if you’re an action-sci-fi type of person.
This book is soooooo good! I LOVE it! I’ve already done a review of it on this blog so I’m not going to review it here but it’s one of my all-time favorites, and even though I’ve only read the first one, it was amazing, and I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
I’ve only read the first one, but I think I’m going to love the rest of the series. Katniss is amazing, the writing is amazing and it deals with the corrupt authority storyline PERFECTLY. Also, now I kind of blame this book on my newest obsession to learn archery.
These books are what got me into mythology. They are so good. My dad read the first one aloud to me when I was eight, and I got hooked. They’re so funny, and action-packed. I even had a Percy Jackson themed birthday party once. Unfortunately, I outgrew my Camp Half-Blood shirt. Quick question if you’ve read Percy Jackson: Which Greek god would be your parent? I think I’d be a daughter of Athena.
These books are so clever and funny, and while the main character was somewhat cliche I liked her anyway. Oh, and I LOVE her friend, Lilly. Plus, just look at the bright colored spines. I own the first one in paperback, and heard the rest in audiobook form.
It’s like a more complex Marvel movie in book form. Need I say more? Let me know if you guys want a review of this. It’s also only the first book in a trilogy but my library doesn’t have the rest.
These books are hilarious, and it’s kind of like the Thor movie, which I love. I like the occasional Percy Jackson-tie ins.
I’d never even heard of Maddie Ziegler until I read her book. It’s a fun and inspiring read.
The Royal Diaries
I love these historical fiction books [I also like the Dear America series]. They were a fun way to learn and have fun.
And before you ask, yes, I’ve read them all. While other people may say it’s a stereotypical teen drama/thriller it’s so much better. Also, apparently there’s a TV show which I’d be interested in seeing at some point. Have any of you guys seen the show?
This is possibly THE best book series ever. Marissa Meyer is an amazing author, and these books are a perfect mix of action, drama, romance and comedy and it’s a sci-fi fairytale. What more could you ask for????
While not quite as good as Percy Jackson these books are still really good, and I like them a lot. Oh, and this time it’s Norse mythology, instead of Greek mythology.
Movies
As you may have guessed from my review of it, I LOVE Legally Blonde. It’s the best rom-com ever invented, and Elle is so smart and funny. This movie is a classic.
This is my favorite Marvel movie EVER [and I love Marvel, so that’s saying something]. I want to fight like Black Widow. Anyway, I’m a fan of action movies and superhero movies, so maybe that’s why I love it so much.
This my all-time favorite Disney musical. The plot is really good, and I love the outfits, and I want to have purple hair like Mal’s. Also, if you listen to the songs be aware that they WILL get stuck in your head.
This movie is a great family Halloween movie! I also love the Sanderson sisters’ costumes. It’s a highly entertaining movie, and it’s funny in a very lighthearted way. There aren’t really more words to say other than ‘It’s a masterpiece.’
There isn’t much plot to this movie, and it’s easy to predict what will happen but that doesn’t stop it from being awesome. Mainly, I watch it for the awesome fight scenes and humour, but hey, not every movie needs the best plot. Some movies are just for fun.
I actually love ALL the Star Wars movies but I couldn’t get a picture of them all. I’m pretty sure all of you have seen Star Wars before but I think we can all agree Star Wars is pretty great.
I laughed almost the entire time this movie went on. Marvel continues to make awesome movies, and the whole ‘Star Lord’ thing was REALLy great.
So while some of you may know I love American Girl dolls, you may or may not have known that I love some of the American Girl movies. The Chrissa movie is my favorite [probably because I really love Chrissa] and I felt like it handled bullying pretty well for a kid’s movie.
X-Men is one of Marvel’s best creations. However, I HATED The Last Stand so that’s why it isn’t included on here. I did like the first one, I just couldn’t find a picture. Lots of people haven’t seen X-Men so if you haven’t and you’re a Marvel fan please give it a shot.
I saw this movie in the theaters instead of seeing The Last Jedi [I know, you probably think I’m crazy] and it was SO worth it, even though I love Star Wars. This movie is really funny, and had great fight scenes [you can probably tell by now that I like action comedies]
So maybe this movie is where my archery obsession started. I saw this movie in the theater, also, and it has always been one of my favorites. I’m not generally a fan of animation but I liked this a lot [I need to find more creative ways of saying ‘I loved it’].
Now let’s talk about the other animated movie that I love: Tangled. While there are a few logic problems [how can Rapunzel walk with hair that long? Isn’t it heavy?] it’s a very sweet and funny movie, and the soundtrack is good. What’s not to like?
This is the best 80’s movie ever! It’s so funny. My entire family loves it. I actually have a really funny story about this so let me know in the comments if you want me to tell it to you.
Yes, this movie was cheesy: No, I will not apologize for liking it. I don’t care how many people hate GOTY movies, this was a genuinely sweet movie.
I’m a sci-fi girl, through and through, XD. I’ve never seen the original TV series, and I’ve only seen the first Star Trek movie but I really enjoyed it.
If you haven’t seen this movie, you really need to. It’s always been one of my favorites Disney movies.
This movie is hilarious. Also, the first time I watched it we had pizza, which is kinda random but pizza is delicious so we had good food and watched a good movie.
I’m normally more of a Marvel person but if I see a good DC movie or show, I won’t hesitate to get obsessed. This may be my second-favorite superhero movie of all time and Gal Gadot played her PERFECTLY.
Okay, it wasn’t as good as the first Avengers movie but it was still awesome. Also, how cool would it be to be named Scarlet Witch?!
This is my absolute favorite heist movie! It stars Mark Wahlberg and Charlize Theron, and the plot is very good, the acting is good, and I just really, really love it.
Just a mindless action flick, but it’s pretty good, actually, and funny.
I love this! Even if it isn’t historically accurate, I really don’t care.
Yeah, tons of people love Harry Potter. But Harry Potter’s awesome so…….TEN POINTS TO GRYFFINDOR! I’m either a Gryffindor or a Slytherin, by the way.
TV Shows
There are no words to describe how AMAZING this show is! It’s got everything: drama, romance, action, sci-fi [I bet you couldn’t tell I like sci-fi], religion, politics, even a little bit of comedy sometimes at the beginning. I’m at the beginning of season three, and it is the best show ever. I’ll probably do a review of it soon. You need to watch it [not like I’m obsessed or anything…..]. Oh, and the cast is good [Edward Olmos, Mary McDonnell, Katee Sackhoff, Tricia Helfer, James Callis, Jamie Bamber, Grace Park].
I’m a fan of cop shows in general but NCIS may just be my favorite. It has good action scenes and murder cases but it’s also flat-out hilarious, and the team is kinda like a sitcom family. My sister and I are in the middle of season 5 so NO SPOILERS.
This show is a Western cop show set in small-town Wyoming but it has a lot of drama, and the characters are good, and I totally recommend it. Also, the actress who played Kara Thrace in Battlestar Galactica plays a deputy named Victoria in this show.
I tend to not like sitcoms because the acting is generally bad and it’s pretty unrealistic but I really like Liv and Maddie. It tends to actually be funny most of the time which is rare for sitcoms, especially Disney ones.
My sisters and I watched the entire 5 seasons in one summer, and while the last season was terrible, the other four seasons ROCK. It’s an action-comedy about spies, with some good work humour in there as well. I can give you a full description in the comments, if you’d like.
This is another spy show, but it’s much more serious [although there is plenty of humour] and the plots are always good, and the characters are good. Oh, and Tricia Helfer starred in it for awhile which makes it even better.
It’s a fantasy TV series, and it’s really cool, and quirky, and it’s pretty family-friendly [with the exception of a few curse words] and I think there should’ve been more seasons.
It’s a slow detective show set in the 1920’s. I love Miss Fisher [she’s a private detective], I love the supporting cast, and I love the storylines.
Girl Meets World
It’s a cute, funny show that deals with important issues without losing any of its charm.
This show is really funny, and has very clever plots. Also, Parker has my exact personality [I always liked her and Sophie best]
Music Artists
Avril Lavigne
I love most of her songs, and lots of them are very powerful, and I love her punk-rock look. Her songs are kinda punk-pop.
Little Mix
I love how they seem to be such good friends, and they have the catchiest pop songs, with plenty of girl power as well.
Taylor Swift
Yup, just like every other girl on the planet, I adore Taylor’s music. Her songs just sound so good.
Katy Perry
I’ve only heard about three of her songs but I like the ones I heard, a lot. They’re very catchy.
Hailee Steinfeld
Her songs are also catchy, and they have really good messages, as well.
Christina Grimmie
While her death was tragic, at least she got to live with God [she was a Christian, btw], and her music continues to be amazing.
The Girl And The Dreamcatcher
Even though their band broke up when they did, I still like their music, not gonna lie. They’re very catchy.
Sofia Carson
I LOVE her songs! She’s such a great artist, with a great sense of style, too.
Fashion/Beauty
These are some shoes I love:
Here’re some of my favorite skirts and dresses:
These are some jeans and leggings I love
Here’re some shirts I love:
These are just a few makeup styles that I adore:
And a few hairstyles:

Celebrities:
Tricia Helfer
Not only is she an incredible actress but she also seems very intelligent, she’s done lots of her own stunts, she has a soothing voice, she’s very tall [this only really matters to me because I’m very tall] and she’s an advocate for cat’s rights. What’s not to love?
Christina Grimmie
As mentioned above, Christina was a Christian [If you don’t know this, I’m Christian also], and she was an incredibly sweet, talented and caring person. At least, she’s with God now. If you’d like to make sure her music lives on forever, please listen to some.
Katee Sackhoff
Katee is a very talented actress, and she’s done quite a few of her own stunts, too. I also love how she stands up for herself and her rights, and she’s unapologetically girly, and while she may not classify herself as ‘’tough’’, I sure would.
Rowan Blanchard
The main reason I love Rowan is her love of people: she supports gay people, she’s a proud feminist, she wants everyone to feel beautiful, and the fact that she’s a pretty good actress adds to her likeablity.
Zendaya
I love Zendaya because she’s talented, brave, sweet and compassionate. She’s a great role model, and also I love her hair.
Emma Watson
A feminist with a gorgeous sense of style, and killer acting chops? She’s pretty great.
Lesley-Ann Brandt
While I’ve only seen her in small parts, she’s proven herself to be an excellent actress who believes people should be treated equally no matter the color of their skin [and she also does a variety of different accents].
Grace Park
She is an insanely talented actress, and she’s done a variety of different things which I love. It’s nice to see people do more than just one thing.
Anne Hathaway
She’s also been pretty versatile with her career, and she seems like a genuinely sweet person, which I love.
Charlize Theron
She’s a great actress, and she seems happy to be herself, and she does her own stunts. Oh, and she’s a feminist.
Jennifer Lawrence
I know she played Katniss Everdeen, even though I’ve never seen The Hunger Games movies. I did see her in X-Men and she was REALLY good in that. She’s also very cheerful and funny.
Lucy Liu
Lucy is a very good actress, and she’s been trained in martial arts, as well as forms of knife fighting. She also seems pretty smart.
Pauley Perrette
Pauley seems like one of the sweetest-and smartest-people in Hollywood. She’s also a Christian, and she believes in equal treatment for everyone. She also played a really great Abby Sciuto.
Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler
Both girls seem very sweet, and they’re multitalented. Plus, Mackenzie has a great voice and Maddie has awesome dance moves.
Little Mix
Maybe it’s just because I love their music, but I’ve been really into them for quite awhile.
Animals
Cats
Cats are my favorite animals of all time! I love them SO much, and they’re so fuzzy and feisty and adorable. I love all cats [even hairless ones]. I also like some other animals [dogs, bunnies, lizards, snakes] but cats are by far my favorite.
Toys
Oh, and quick note I don’t want all of the stuff I said I don’t have: they’re just my favorites because I like looking at them.
Chrissa Maxwell
I LOVE my Chrissa doll! She’s my favorite AG doll of all time.
Truly Me #39
I don’t have her, I just like her hair color and pretty eyes. She’s a gorgeous girl for sure.

I don’t have any of these but I love their time periods and outfits. I also like Addy and Julie but I couldn’t find good pictures of them.
I have both of these [I got them at a thrift store]. I renamed them after Abby and Ziva from NCIS.
I also have both of these. I named them after Six and Starbuck from Battlestar Galactica.
Descendants dolls have very unique facial expressions. And, yes, I have these.
These ball-jointed dolls look so pretty. Also, my zodiac sign is Scorpio so maybe that’s why I like Scorpio. I think I just like the look of Gemini.
She looks very cool. I like all the Forces Of Destiny dolls but I could only find a picture of Rey.
I have both of these and they’re fun props in games.
These are Japanese Pullip ball-jointed dolls. Just LOOK at those big eyes!
Activities:
Acting
It’s the activity I love the most, and something I am positive I want to go professional with. I make videos, and I’ve been in quite a few plays.
Playing sports
I love every sport I’ve ever played, and I’m quite athletic. My favorite sports are running, swimming, basketball, soccer and badmitton. I’d like to try martial arts, sometime, though.
Hanging out with friends and family
I love spending time with the people I love. It’s awesome, and I hope to always have a good connection with the people I love.
Being outside
While I do like to be indoors for certain activities, I prefer being outside and exploring nature.
Learning School
Yes, I actually like school. I really like gross science, math, English, and learning history and foreign languages. I just like all school.
Playing with dolls, and with my siblings
I may be considered ‘’old’’ for this but you shouldn’t stop playing just because you get older.
Movie-making.
While I’m more of an actor, and I have other things I love more, I do enjoy filmmaking. It’s a lot of fun. I also like writing and producing.
Enjoying people’s art forms
Whether it be watching movies and TV, reading or listening to music, I love seeing and hearing what other people have created.
And, of course, I love blogging, XD.
Well, congrats if you survived that post, haha. Hopefully, you know a bit more about me know. Do we have any interests in common? Let me know in the comments. Also, tell me a little about you.
YES! Finally someone out there likes Burn Notice, Chuck, Leverage, Beauty and the Beast (2017), Wonder Woman, Tangled, Brave, Emma Watson, Anne Hathaway, and Truly Me #39 *pants*
ReplyDeleteanyway it's awesome to find someone on the blogosphere who has similar likes as I do. :)
-Quinley
Yay! I'm glad to find someone who has some similar interests as me. Feel free to talk about them with me. They're awesome. Parker from Leverage is basically my TV soul sister.
ReplyDeleteMy sister, dad and I once acted out a Burn Notice and Chuck crossover which was awesome. As usual, I was playing about nine parts and they were each playing one. I didn't really mind, though.
