What I Wore for A Week

Image
Hi. So, this is definitely different from what I usually do, but I wanted to switch things up a bit, and decided to do this. Basically, I took pictures of every outfit I wore this week, and, uh, now I'm posting them on here. Monday [Wow, I make really weird facial expressions.]. On Monday, I wore this sweater [I think it's kind of a maroon color, but I don't know a whole lot about various colors], jeans, socks, a necklace, and two rings. I did have earrings in, but they're just my usual gold studs. The shoes I just wore when I was outside. Tuesday On Tuesday I wore my hair in a ponytail. I also wore hoop earrings, these two rings that I wear all the time, and a silver necklace.  I wore this blue, long-sleeved shirt, jeans, and a pair of high-heeled boots. Wednesday This is what I wore on Wednesday: a pink sundress [on Wednesdays we wear pink], a hot pink shirt, two bracelets, a necklace, and socks. I also wore my hair in pigtails.  Thursday On Thursday I wore a blue sh

Character of the Day: Santana Lopez

Image
Hi, again! I'm back with the first post in my new series. Let me know if you want me to continue these. Today I'll be focusing on Santana Lopez, who's a character from the TV show Glee. Santana is definitely my favorite character from Glee . At the beginning of the show, Santana doesn't seem particularly interesting. She's your typical snarky, aloof, mean girl cheerleader. Of course, even back then she was super sassy, and had excellent comebacks. In season two, Santana started getting a bit more focus. She was definitely one of the most talented singers on Glee , and she slowly started to get more solos [which she totally deserves, because she's ridiculously talented], and started getting some more development. Her insults are iconic, her outfits are amazing, and she was getting more episodes focused on her. She was still a bit stereotypical, but she started becoming more of a main character, instead of an extra so the Glee Club could have twelve members. Whil

Series Overview: Glee

Image
Hello. So, I finished watching Glee a few days ago.  Technically, I only watched five seasons, because the sixth season was horrible [if you watch Glee, just skip that season, it's not worth it.] Here's my review on the first five seasons. Glee was created by Ian Brennan, Brad Falchuk, and Ryan Murphy, and stars Cory Monteith, Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison, Chris Colfer, Naya Rivera, Amber Riley, Kevin McHale, Heather Morris, Jenna Ushkowitz, Harry Shum Jr, Jayma Mays, Jane Lynch, Dianna Agron, Mark Salling, Chord Overstreet, Melisssa Benoist, Darren Criss, Becca Tobin, Jacob Artist, Alex Newell, and Blake Jenner. So, here's a brief review of each season. Season One Season One was really good, though not the best. They were still figuring out the characters, and overall theme of the show. Season One was a great season, though. It had some great guest stars, and it was a really good start to the show.  Favorite Episodes: Preggers, The Rhodes Not Taken, Vitamin D, Wheels, Ba

Movie Review: Mean Girls [2004]

Image
Hi. So, as you probably know, I am a MASSIVE fan of Mean Girls: The Musical. So, last night, my sisters and I watched Mean Girls, and I thought you might want to know my thoughts about it. Rating: PG-13 Genre: Comedy Length: 1 hour, 37 minutes Writer: Tina Fey Director: Mark Waters Cast: Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert, Amanda Seyfried, Lizzy Caplan, Tina Fey,Jonathan Bennett, Amy Poehler, Daniel Franzese Summary: When naive homeschooler Cady Heron goes to school for the first time, she tries to help her two new friends, Janis and Damian, get revenge on the Plastics, a group of mean girls who rule the school, but ends up becoming Plastic in the process. My Thoughts: So, Mean Girls is a super famous movie, and you've most likely heard of it, or heard some of the more famous quotes. And, of course, like with most things that are famous, some people will like it, some won't. I, personally, thought it was so fetch. Of course it's not the greatest thing since slice

Celebrity of the Day: Barrett Wilbert Weed

Image
So, I was going through several of my old posts, and, I thought, 'how is it that I've never done a post on Barrett Wilbert Weed'? I have no idea, because Barrett is my favorite Broadway actress.  Barrett Wilbert Weed [born November 6, 1988] is probably best known for playing Veronica Sawyer in Heathers: The Musical , and Janis Sarkisian in Mean Girls: The Musical , but she's been in some other musicals, too  Of course I don't know her personally, but from the few interviews I've read, she seems like a cool person. I've always loved Barrett's singing voice. I think she is an incredibly talented performer. The first Broadway song I ever really listened to was 'Apex Predator' from Mean Girls: The Musical, and I kept thinking, ''wow, she's a really good singer. I'll have to look up the soundtrack.'' And, so, that's what I did. And I don't regret it one bit, because it's one of the few soundtracks where I love ever

A Day in My Life

So, I've read lots of these posts, and thought I might try my hand at doing one. Here's an average day in my life.  6:00 This is when my alarm rings, and wakes me up. I usually get right out of bed, but today I stayed in bed for a few minutes.  6:35 This is when I've finished getting ready, and I get ready to do a workout. For whatever reason, it's fun for me. I usually listen to music while I work out, so today I mostly listened to my Broadway playlist.  8:20 This is when we usually have breakfast, but today it was a little late, so I worked on journaling, because I haven't done it these past couple of days.  8:40 By this time we're ready for breakfast.  9:30 This is when teeth are brushed, and dishes are done, and we start schoolwork.   12:20 I finished school around this time. Usually it doesn't take quite as long, but I did some extra work today, so now I'm watching Glee.  1:30 I finished up watching TV, and now I'm eating lunch.  2:10 Now I'

I Give You Sexy Corn: My Thoughts on Mean Girls: The Musical

Image
Hello, all. Today I'm going to be reviewing the Mean Girls musical. Now, I haven't seen the movie or the musical, so I don't really know much about the plot, but I love the songs. I first listened to this in May 2019 [I think], and the songs have always stuck with me. I went through another huge Mean Girls phase in February and March of this year. So, today, I'll be reviewing each of the songs. It's a very different way then how I usually would, so let me know if you like it.  ''A Cautionary Tale'' -The music at the beginning is amazing ''It's a cautionary tale based on actually events where people died''......oh, Janis, I love you already -Also her voice is absolutely incredible.  -Ok, so this musical is about mean, popular girls? Pretty straightforward -I really like this song a lot -''This is a cautionary tale about corruption and betrayal and getting hit by a bus''. Wow, Damien's already hilarious. -Janis

My Thoughts on All the Books I Read in August

Image
Hello. I read so many books in August, and really wanted to review all of them, but didn't have the time, so here are my thoughts on all of them. So, I won't be bothering with plot summaries, or facts, just simply how much I liked it. I will rate these books on a scale from 1 to 5. The Hunger Games is one of my favorite books, but I hadn't read it in awhile. The plot is really solid, the characters are great. I loved how Katniss is so unlike your typical heroine. I mean, sure, there are tons of Katniss copycats in YA sci-fi/fantasy, but she was the original. She's sort of aloof, distrustful and not always very nice, but she's brave, has a strong sense of honor, and does the right thing. And it feels genuine, not an 'oh, I'm not like other girls.' Anyway, I really think this is one of the best YA books, and it's definitely worth reading. My Rating: 5 stars For some reason, I don't like Catching Fire quite as much, but it's still a really grea

August Recap

Hey, guys. Wow, it started feeling like fall today. It's sunny, but cool. I was outside for a long time today. So, let's get on with this recap. Books Read in August All of these were good. I could honestly recommend them all. Movies/TV Shows Watched in August Seasons 2-4, and the first episode in Season Five. Most of my TV time went towards Glee this month. Season Three I just skipped around through various seasons. I mostly watch it in the evenings with my family.  Same with Liv and Maddie Music of August Yeah, I mostly listened to Glee songs. There are more, but these are the ones I listened to the most. I, again, just skipped around through various seasons. Events of August -We went bowling again, and I won. It was awesome. And then we got ice cream afterwards, and I got rainbow sherbert. -At the beginning of the month, I was still on my break from school. Starting it up again wasn't too bad. Well, except for math. -I did a lot of writing. My current big project is at
