Springtime Asks Tag

Image
Ivy tagged me for this. Thank you for tagging me! The Questions April-what's your favorite time of the year? Weather wise, I like fall. I like the weather and some of my favorite holidays are in the fall. I also like summer, but that could just be because there's no school then.  Apples-Favorite Fruit I like bananas and most type of berries----blueberries, raspberries, blackberries.  Bees-what's your go-to spring outfit? A sundress with a long-sleeved shirt and tights underneath.  Blossom-what's your favorite flower?  I like sunflowers, snapdragons and tulips.  Bubbles-do you like bubble tea? I've never tried it.  Changes-what signals the changing of the seasons to you? Difference in weather. Usually it's snow melting for me. Collegiate-did you go to or are you going to university? What are you or did you study? I haven't been to college, but I'd like to go. I think I'd like to major in English and maybe minor in film studies.  Comfort-who is your g

Book Review: Great or Nothing

Image
I have been waiting to read this book for months. I wanted to read it so much that I bought it the day that it came out.  So, I read it and here are my thoughts on it.  Great or Nothing is a Little Women retelling set during WW2. Each sister's POV is written by a different author. Tess Sharpe writes Jo, Jessica Spotswood writes Meg, Caroline Tung Richmond writes Amy, and Joy McCullough writes Beth.  Overall, my opinions of this book were mostly positive. I'm going to review each of the girl's perspectives and then review my thoughts as a whole.  Meg To be honest, Meg's never been my favorite sister. I like her, but I don't love her. I actually liked the way Jessica Spotswood wrote her. You could almost feel her frustration at being the only one left at home, as well as wondering if she's doing enough with helping the war. In this story, Meg works as a high school English teacher, which fits really well with her character. John Brooks is a math teacher at the sa

March Recap

I can't believe that March is already over! It's a quarter of the way through 2022. That. Is. Insane.  March has been a busy month for me. Most of it was good, but some of it was bad.  Without further adieu, let's get into it.  What I Read in March March was a pretty good reading month. It could've been better, but I four of the books I read this month were classics, which usually take me longer to read.  What I Watched This Month Season Two Season Three What I Wrote This Month I did a lot of editing for my fanfiction and for my novel. Both of those went pretty well. I think I'm becoming much better at editing. I used to never edit, and now I edit all the time.  I also started writing the sequel to my novel and it's going.....fine. I always have trouble near the beginning of writing something, so it's not unusual and not bad either.  What I Did This Month -The main thing that I did this month was join a track team. My main event that I'm doing is shotpu
