Another Awards Post

Image
Hey everyone! So, today I wanted to do an easier post, so I thought I'd do some tags. Let's get into it. First up is the Liebster Award. The Questions What's your favorite kind of tea? I don't drink very much tea, but I had mint tea one time and I liked that.  What's your favorite theme song? The Buffy the Vampire Slayer theme song!  If given a free ticket, which country would you choose to visit and why? Maybe Scotland? It's so pretty there. England and Italy seem nice, too. What is one thing you wish people knew about you? This is such a hard question. I've been puzzling over it for ten minutes. I guess I would say that just because I need time away from people doesn't mean I don't like them. I need some time to myself, and, if I don't, I tend to get annoyed with everyone. So, if I need to step away from people for a few minutes, it's not because I don't like them.  What is your most prized possession? It's not a thing, but any of

My Ten Favorite Episodes of The Librarians

Image
I've adored The Librarians since I first saw it when I was eleven. I remember waiting for a new episode each week and watching it with my family. It's such a fun and underrated show, so I thought I'd give you my top ten episodes.  #10: And The Apple of Discord Summary: When the dragons sleeping beneath the Earth threaten to wake and wreak havoc around the world, Flynn returns to help them with their quest.  This is such a fun episode. It includes the mythical golden apple from Greek mythology, which, in this version, turns you into the worst version of yourself, and it's so interesting seeing what each of the 'evil' librarians would be like. I love when Flynn is involved because I adore the chaotic academic energy he brings.  #9: And The Image of Image Summary: Mysterious events effecting young and beautiful clubbers leads the Librarians to a certain person in possession of a unique selfie. This one is so interesting to me mostly because of their version of Dor

My Summer Playlist 2022

Image
Hi everyone! Last July I made a playlist with my favorite songs that summer, so I thought I'd do that again this year.  Pity Party-Melanie Martinez I like Melanie's style----not just her sense of fashion, but her style of music. I like how she mixes darker themes with a more happy, childlike style of music. This is one of my go-to sad/angry songs, and I really like it. Also, the dress that she wears in this is super cute.  So What-Pink This is such a fun song. It makes me feel powerful, and it's fun to dance to. Also, there's this amazing multifandom video by KillerQueen that you should watch. My laptop isn't letting me link it, but please check it out.  Devil In Me-Halsey The main reason I love this song is the music at the beginning. I don't know much about the technicality of music, but I love that part. I also love the lyrics-----it reminds me a lot of one of my characters, and I also love Halsey's voice----she's one of my favorite singers.  Nightma

Ranking All the Songs in Once More, With Feeling

Image
Once More, With Feeling is one of my favorite Buffy episodes, for many, many reasons, and I will make a post on it at some point. One of the reasons is that the songs are amazing.  So, I decided to rank the songs.  Disclaimer: This is my personal opinion. If yours is different, that's totally fine. Dawn's Lament It's not a bad song! The music is actually pretty nice, but it's pretty short, and doesn't have a lot of depth [and Michelle Trachenberg's voice is so quiet, so it's hard to hear her]. Going Through the Motions I like this song. It's a good introduction to this episode, the song is a really good metophor for depression, and Sarah Michelle Geller has a lovely voice. The reason this is so low on the list is just because I like the other songs better.  What You Feel [Reprise] It's short, but Sweet's talent and charisma shine through even with just a few lyrics. Also, it's fun.  Dawn's Ballet/What You Feel Michelle Trachtenberg is a

June Recap

Image
June has been kind of a crazy and stressful month. I still can't believe we're halfway through 2022.  What I Read In June What I Watched In June Events of June -I'm still finishing up school, and I'm so tired of classes and ready for it to be done.  -I had some family visit this month, and it was fun to see them.  -I've been editing two novels this month, which has been fun but busy.  -It was my sisters' birthday this month and we had some friends over [they live in the same state as us, but in a different area, so it was nice to see them]. -I also had some martial arts lessons this month. -There were some fun parts of June, but there was also a lot of stressful things---both in my life and in the world.  So, that was my June. How was yours?
