About Me

Hi! Thank you so much for visiting my blog. Let's start with the basics: My name's McKayla and my pronouns are she/her/hers, I'm a Christian, in my teens, an INFP and enneagram 4.
The first thing you should know about me is that I'm a writer. I mostly write fiction----more specifically, sci-fi, fantasy and horror, but lately I've been working on poetry. 
I also love stories in general, and I spend a lot of my time reading, watching movies and playing video games. 
For non fiction-related hobbies, I really love sports and any physical activity in general-----especially running, swimming and martial arts, as well as making art------especially painting.
I also like pizza, cats, nature, history, fashion, makeup, psychology, board games, tattoos, flowers, bright colors and dying my hair.

      Yay! Fantasy is the best. Um, I have a lot of favorites but I really like the Harry Potter series, the Percy Jackson series, The Raven Cycle, the Wings of Fire series, Howl's Moving Castle, These Witches Don't Burn, and the Magnus Chase series. What are some of your favorites?

      Howl's Moving Castle, Percy Jackson and Harry Potter are awesome! :)
      I really like LOTR (Lord of the Rings), The Hobbit, Igraine the Brave, We Goddesses (there are two books in the series, and they focus on the goddesses of Greek mythology), Percy Jackson, and Fantastic Beasts. (The first movie, the second one isn't as good, and I am hoping that the third one will be better).

      Who is your favorite character from Percy Jackson? I like Annabeth.

 Hello! It's been SO LONG since I've posted, and I'm really, really sorry about that. I didn't mean to take a hiatus, but my life has just been busy, and I was struggling to find inspiration for blogging, but I am back and feeling better than ever.  'Ello there everyone! Today I've decided to do another tag because tags are always fun. And this one is about fictional characters aka my favorite thing ever to talk about.  I stole this from  Michelle's  blog because I can, and I'm evil.  Yes, yes, yes, while I'm enjoying being in my villain phase, I should probably answer the questions. Which character was your first love? I'm assuming this means, like, romantic-type love? I don't think I've ever been in love with a character, but my first fictional crush was  Lamia from The Librarians . YouTube Videos That Make Me Happy

Yellowjackets Cast Plays I Dare You If you've never watched Yellowjackets, don't worry because I haven't either. They don't talk a lot about the show in this video. It's basically just them playing Truth or Dare. I'm not sure why this video makes me so happy, but it does. I just love the vibe of every single person in this video, and I want to be best friends with all of them.  Yellowjackets Cast Acts Out Emojis Again, I just love this cast so much. I love their dynamic together, and they all seem like really fun, cool people. Plus, it's just a fun one to watch. The Outer Banks Cast Reads Thirst Tweets This video is completely hilarious. I love OBX, and I love the cast, but, again, you don't have to watch the show to watch this interview.
