Ranking Taylor Swift Albums

Image
Hello! So, if you know me, you'll know that I'm a huge Taylor Swift fan. I love most of her music, so today I decided to rank all of her albums. I will add a quick disclaimer that I know next to nothing about what makes good or bad music. I just determine whether it's good or not based on how much I like it, which is how I'm doing it today. Also, this isn't meant to insult you if we have opposite tastes. This is just my opinion. #10: Taylor Swift I don't think it's a bad album. Super twangy country music just isn't my thing. There are a few songs on this album that I really like--------Tied Together With A Smile, Invisible and Teardrops on My Guitar are some of my favorites. Just, as a whole, this album is probably my least favorite. #9: Reputation Now, I love the cover of this album [look at it, it's stunning], and, again, there are a few songs on this album that I really like------mostly Look What You Made Me Do. I applaud her for taking a darker

In Which I Review Some Movies I Watched During Spooky Season

Image
Hello! So, I recently saw some movies that were more horror-esque for Halloween, and I wanted to talk about them. Yes, I know Halloween's over, but I will keep talking about Halloween-related stuff for pretty much forever. So, let's begin with my review of Scream. Summary: A year after the murder of her mother, a young girl is tormented by a new killer, who targets her and her friends by using horror films as part of a deadly game.  Scream is a 1996 slasher/horror film directed by Wes Craven and written by Kevin Williamson. It stars Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Skeet Ulrich, Rose McGowan, Matthew Lillard, Jamie Kennedy and Drew Barrymore.  My Thoughts: I really liked this video. Now, I don't have a lot of experience with horror movies and I'm no expert, so feel free to take my opinion with a grain of salt, but I thought it was really well-done.  While it is a horror movie, it has a bit of a mystery side because you don't know who the killer is unti

The Fandom Favorites Tag

Image
Hello! Today we're going to be talking about some of my favorite topics: fictional characters. I'm really excited for this.  Le Rules Compile a list of up to ten of your favorite fandoms-------books, movies, TV shows, whatever Tell us about your favorite character in each of these fandoms, along with an explanation for why they are your favorite.  Tag however many [or few] friends you'd like to participate Alright, let's get started. Disclaimer: I may not be able to pick one character from each fandom, so there might be two [look, I am horrible at making decisions. i'm awful at it. So, in this case, I'm simply opting out of having to choose]. Buffy the Vampire Slayer My fav Buffy character is a tie between Faith and Giles.  So, I love Faith because she's so damaged and angry and morally grey and complicated and so much stuff all mixed together at once. She's very complex and I like to theorize about her backstory. When the whole damaged-but-secretly-goo

October Recap

Image
Hey everyone! Can you believe that it's almost the end of 2022? As in, there are only two months left? That's crazy. Anyway, let's get into the recap. What I Read in October A few of these I had to read for school, but I think they still count. I also read The Raven, Annabel Lee and The Dream Within A Dream.  What I Watched in October What I Did in October -So, it was my birthday. It was a really fun day-----though I'm kind of panicking because I feel so old. We went bowling and then out to lunch, and watched a movie.  Here's a picture of my birthday outfit. And here's a mini haul [which includes a purple bag with a cat illustrations, two of the books in the Witches of Echo Park series, graphic eyeliner pens, facial glitter, Wanda and Vision Funko POPs, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and a watercolor set with mini canvases]. -I started a new WIP! It's been really fun, but hard.  -As you can probably tell from the above photo, I got Animal Crossing, and I
