Triple Review on Some Great TV Shows

Image
Hi, friends. Today I will be reviewing three different shows. Well, really, two shows and a pilot.  First up, Warehouse 13 Season One Warehouse 13 was created by Jane Epenson and D. Brent Mote, and stars Eddie McClintock, Joanne Kelly, Saul Rubinek, Genelle Williams, and Allison Scagliotti. After saving the life of the President in Washington D.C, a pair of Secret Service agents are whisked away to a covert location in South Dakota that houses supernatural objects that have been collected over the centuries. Their next assignment: retrieve lost objects, seemingly harmless, that have immense power.  My Thoughts The first season is absolutely great. I finished it in, like, three days. To be fair, though, I was sick, and normally wouldn’t have watched that much. Anyway, the characters are so great, and have this great team dynamic. It’s a sweet show. For all you history lovers [there are quite a few]  some episodes focus on historical artifacts. It also has a lot of action,

The 30 Song Challenge

Image
Hi. And, yes, I know I'm doing another tag but it looked really fun. So, here's my answers. 1] Your Favorite Song Oooh, this is so hard. At the moment or of all time? All time I think it's Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. 2]Your Least Favorite Song Okay, you guys might think I'm crazy but I don't care for Christmas music AT ALL. So any Christmas song. 3] A Song That Makes You Happy Sexy from Mean Girls on Broadway. It's the most hilarious song EVER. I lost it at ''I give you sexy corn''. 4] A Song That Makes You Sad White Horse by Taylor Swift because it reminds me of this fictional character with a tragic storyline. Music doesn't really affect my mood much. I just feel sad for her. 5] A Song That Makes You Feel Guilty I don't have one, because, like I said, music doesn't effect me very much, emotionally. Um, I'll just put an awesome song here. How about The Phoenix by Fall Out Boy? 6] A Song That Reminds You o

The Valentine's Day Tag [featuring ships, fanfics, platonic love, and cake]

Happy Valentine’s Day, fellow bloggers and, er, blog readers. Also, it’s Friday, which means two glorious days of no math, which means I get hyped way too easily. Anyway, so….Valentine’s Day, a holiday where roughly half the population spend way too much money on Hallmark cards, express true love and do other couple-y stuff. The other half thinks about three things: cake, candy, fictional characters. I was going to make this post earlier but I kinda, sorta forgot today was Valentine’s Day so it’s a little late. Basically, I created my own tag about fictional characters. Ready? Here we go.  Also, this took a crazy long time because I’m normally not deeply invested in the romance of various shows. So there’s some platonic love in here, too, because, um, I ran out of ships. Sweetest Couple: Fitz-Simmons! I love both of their characters, and they have a cute relationship [world, just let them have a relationship without something bad happening, please]. I can’t really explai

5 YA Books I Loved and 5 I Hated

Image
Hi. So turns out, I was able to post, after all. It’s just a little late. Sorry about that. Anyway, I’m not a huge fan of YA fiction, but I have a few books that I really liked, and some I really hated so I thought I’d share them with you [I almost said y’all. Am I turning Southern or something?]. Ack. I got distracted again. On with the list. Loved: The Lunar Chronicles  For those of you who haven’t read them, The Lunar Chronicles is a fairytale retelling series. It kinda kicked off the fairytale trend, I think. Anyway, this series had great pacing, and great character development. It’s awesome, and I highly recommend them. Also, this series has THE BEST characters. There was just a lot of variety, which is always fun. Hated: When Dimple Met Rishi Okay, maybe I’m being a bit too harsh on this book, since it’s a contemporary, and a romance, two genres I usually don’t like. I did actually finish this one. Anyway, I really, really, really, really despise Dimple, the ma
