Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle Review

Hello. So I decided to review……
The sequel comes out on December 13th which gives you a while to watch it if you haven’t already.
Also, before we get started be sure to wish Lesley-Ann Brandt a happy 38th birthday.
Anyway, Jumanji: Welcome to The Jungle was directed by Jake Kasdan, and the screenplay was written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.
It stars Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Jack Black, Nick Jonas, Bobby Canna, and Rhys Darby.
The basic premise of the film is that there are four, very different teenagers.
Spencer, the awkward, video game nerd.
Fridge, the athlete who’s failing school.
Bethany, the hot, popular girl who’s obsessed with her phone.
Martha, the shy, bookish girl who’s obsessed with school.
So this group all end up in detention.
And their punishment is to remove staples from old magazines.
That’s where they find an old video game, and decide to play it. They each pick a different character, and then, BAM! They’re sucked into the game, and into the bodies of the avatar they picked.
Spencer is now a super muscular fighter named Doctor Smolder Bravestone. Oh, and he has no weaknesses. But it’s still the same Spencer, he’s just in a different body.
Fridge is Franklin ‘Moose’ Finbar, a very petite zoologist who’s weaknesses are speed, strength, and cake.
Martha is Ruby Roundhouse, Killer of Men, an expert in all forms of martial arts. Her weakness ia venom.
Bethany is an overweight, middle-aged man named Sheldon Oberon, who’s an expert with maps [a ‘map doctor’ as she said].
Eventually, a guide tells them that Van Pelt, the villain, stole a gem from a Jaguar statue, and they need to get it back to the statue. He then gives Spencer the gem.
They discover that they have three lives. If they use up all of their lives than they will die for real.
It’s a hilarious movie, and action-packed! Plus you’ll have enough time to see it, and then see the second one.
I would rate it 10/10.

    I saw this for the first time this year! It was so hilarious. I'm looking forward to rewatching it and the sequel, too!

    Yeah, definitely! The cast was great. Same! My family owns it on DVD so I've seen it probably 7-8 times.

    This looks awesome and funny, though I haven't seen it yet. I did not expect Bethany is so popular and probably cares a lot about her appearance to choose Sheldon, but I think she didn't expect to be zapped into the game to begin with. XD
    Also, I think the actress who plays Martha (in videogame form) plays a character in the 11th doctor's season of Doctor Who.

    You'd probably really like it. It's very cool. Yeah, they didn't expect to get sucked into the game. And Sheldon was nicknamed 'Shelly' and described as 'the curvy genius'.
    Oh, yeah, she does. Her name is Karen Gillan. She also plays Nebula in Guardians of the Galaxy/The Avengers.

If I Was A Fictional Character [Tag]

 Hello there! In Which I Talk About My WIP

 Greetings, friends! So, during my semi-hiatus, I did get to do a little more writing than usual, so I thought now would be a good time to talk about my WIP. So, here we are. I stole   borrowed this tag from Christine's blog. Technically, you're supposed to do it doing NaNo, but I'm doing it now.  What first sparked the idea for this novel? I'm not....totally sure. I know the idea first came to me in November 2020. It came from me wanting to write a book with magical powers, and I've always liked elemental magic, so that's sort of how it got started. Originally, I'd imagined it as a TV show, actually, and it was just a fun idea to play around with in my head, but then I ended up tweaking it a little, and it's now it's a whole novel.
