September Recap

Well, dang-dang-diggity-dang-a-dang, September's over, and that means it's time for a monthly recap.
September feels like it went by super fast, and super slow at the same time.
Books Read in September

Movies/TV Shows Watched in September
Which is so fetch, by the way. I have a feeling I'll be seeing this again soon, since October 3 is Mean Girls.

Season Five, and a bit of Season Six, although not much, because it's not a great season. I also rewatched some of the earlier episodes.
Seasons Four and Five. I started watching the last two seasons after I finished Glee. They were great.
After I finished those two shows, I re-watched some Firefly. It's a great show.

Season One
I've only seen about five episodes, but it's very good so far.
Music of September
I listened to a lot of music this month. At the beginning of September, it was mostly classic rock, but I mostly binge-listened to Mean Girls, and Heathers. I definitely recommend listening to both of them.
[Also, listen to Beetlejuice, Six, Legally Blonde, Waitress, and Falsettos. I've heard lots of people recommend Dear Evan Hanson, and Be More Chill, even though I haven't listened to them.]

Events of September
-Snow! I don't think it's ever snowed this early where I live, but this month it did.
-We got a puppy! His name is Titan, and he's a Great Pieranese mix. I don't have any pictures uploaded on my computer, but if you want to see some, I could make a post about him.
-Singing stuff. My sisters and I did a short song-and-dance performance this month. Now, we're planning to do another one in a month or two. This time with way more songs, choreographed dances, and a couple costume changes.
-Semi-related to that last point, but, apparently, I'm an alto, my one sister is a soprano, and the other is a mezzo-soprano. So, that's kinda cool.
-Boxing. My wonderful mom saw that her athletically inclined children needed something sporty to do, and she's been trying to incorporate sports into our homeschool. So, she got us a punching bag, boxing gloves, and a yoga swing. They're all a lot of fun.
-Fangirling. Lots of fangirling. Mostly over Mean Girls, because the musical is amazing, and the movie is amazing, and I love it.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to this month. There's a lot of holidays: Halloween, my birthday, a couple other family member's birthdays, Halloween, Mean Girls day, etc.
So, how was your month? Did anything exciting happen?

  1. My sister loves Dear Evan Hansen, it's her favorite musical of all time. I didn't finish it, but some of the songs are really good. Oh, a puppy! That's so exciting!

    Happy birthday in advance!

  2. Yeah, I've been meaning to listen to it. Now I have even more of a reason to.
    Yeah, it's super exciting.
    Thank you so much.

  3. That's awesome that you got a puppy. Also, it is neat that you found out your vocal range. (Though as a singer, I should say you can expand it if you practice a lot: I sing songs in my chest voice, and in my head voice).

    1. P.S. Beetlejuice is awesome. I listened to the musical, and I think if I ever were to act in a musical I'd like to play Beetlejuice.

  4. It is. He's so cute.
Yeah, it's very cool. I've been doing a lot of practice.
P.S. Yes, it's an amazing musical. Cool. Beetlejuice seems like he would be very fun to play.
