September Recap

 Aannnnndddd......September's over. How? No, seriously. How? I feel like this month was three months in a month and still went by really quickly. XD.

I'm finally starting to get caught up Seasons 5B and Season Six. Personally, I think the second half of season five is really good. 


Events of September
-I went on a mini-vacation with my family. I got to do lots of swimming [which, according to my grandfather, I mention every time I talk about the highlights of whatever I've done. I just really, really like swimming], did sort of an adventure course that involved rock climbing, an obstacle course and a climbing/jumping thing. Oh, and a zipline. It was scary, but fun. I also got to go to a nice restaurant [with pizza!], went to a museum, and went to a bookstore. 
-Martial arts started again.
I haven't been able to do martial arts since March 2020, and I'm so happy to do it again! It's only an hour once a week, and I'm always exhausted when I'm done, but it's so fun.
-Also, I went to a group to meet new people [I have no idea what it's called, sorry]. I was kind of hesitant at first, but it's very fun. 
-I finished the book I was writing. It's taken months of long hours and breaking through writers block, but now I have a novel. A 370 page novel with my own original characters and story [a novel that needs a ton of editing, but I'm taking a writing break now].
-Also, lots of school. Lots and lots of school. Not all of it's that bad [except for math]. I like Literature and Grammar and Astronomy. 
So, that was my September. How was yours? What did you do?

    Congrats on finishing your novel! :D It sounds like your September was fun, and you watched Shazam! What did you think of it? :) I liked it, and it was neat seeing Zachary Levi in another role other than Chuck.

      I liked it! It was sweet and fun and funny. Zachary Levi is great in just about everything.

    Oh wow, that's quite a lot. Sounds fun though, especially the vacation. I can't believe September is over already either.
    Congrats on writing your novel! That's a huge deal.
    To be honest I feel like I mostly just worked all of September, read the Book Thief, and reading The Secret History. I'm hoping that I get to more in October, although I'm a bit freaked out realizing that October already feels like it's going so fast. I have so much I want to do.

      It kind of is, when I write it all down. It was spread out over the whole month, so it doesn't feel like a lot.
      Thanks! It is! It's the longest thing I've ever written, and I alternate between being proud of it and thinking that it needs a TON of editing.

    Sounds like you had a lot of fun, I chickened out of going on a zipline, so your braver than I am.

      Thanks! Well, your writing is always really pretty, so I'm sure it takes longer.

In Which I Talk About My WIP

 Greetings, friends! So, during my semi-hiatus, I did get to do a little more writing than usual, so I thought now would be a good time to talk about my WIP. So, here we are. I stole   borrowed this tag from Christine's blog. Technically, you're supposed to do it doing NaNo, but I'm doing it now.  What first sparked the idea for this novel? I'm not....totally sure. I know the idea first came to me in November 2020. It came from me wanting to write a book with magical powers, and I've always liked elemental magic, so that's sort of how it got started. Originally, I'd imagined it as a TV show, actually, and it was just a fun idea to play around with in my head, but then I ended up tweaking it a little, and it's now it's a whole novel. Share a blurb [or just an overall summary if you'd prefer]? I think I'll probably just give a summery, honestly, because that's easier. It's summertime. If I Was A Fictional Character [Tag]

 Hello there! Random Buffy GIF just because.   Sam  did this tag on her blog, and I asked her if I could do it, and she said yes.  This looks like it will be a lot of fun. *rubs hands together gleefully* Share a snippet that includes a description of their appearance: She's flopped out on her bed, furiously typing up a blog post on her laptop. She's tall, and athletic looking with very long legs. She's dressed casually in ripped jeans [she didn't buy them ripped. They just happened to rip while she was wearing them, and they're her most comfortable pair, so she keeps wearing them], a mint green hoodie, and socks with llamas on them.
