August Recap, An Announcement And How I Did On My Summer Goals

Hello everyone! I hope that you've all had a good month. I'll get into the recap in just a minute, but first I wanted to say that I'm going to be taking a bit of a break from blogging in September. I probably won't be gone for the whole month, but I won't be posting as frequently. Between responsibilities [like school, sports and chores] and working on my novel, plus wanting to script and edit some videos and dealing with blogging burnout, I just want to take a short break. Hopefully you'll all understand.
So, here's the recap.
Books I Read in August

Movies/TV Shows I Watched In August
Season One and part of Season Two
Again, Season One and part of Season Two

What I Did In August
Watch me just forget everything I did, lol.
-Some of my friends came over to visit this month! It was really fun to get to see them and hang out with them again. We even got to go horseback riding this time.
-I can't remember if I wrote this in my last recap but I have a new-ish WIP I've been working on and I really enjoy it.
-I also joined a cross country team and I think my endurance is better than it was before, but I'm still not great. We just had our first meet and that was fun.
-Also, school starts tomorrow, and I'm not sure how I feel about it yet.
Now it's time for me to say how I did on my summer goals.
Read 30 Books
Nope. I did read 22 books, though, so I got pretty close.
Go Hiking
No. I didn't get to do that this summer.
Try Out A New Hobby
Yup. This summer I've been making more YouTube videos and it's been fun.
Watch New Movies
Yeah, I definitely did this.
Make Some YouTube Videos
Yup! I've filmed a few and I'm just waiting to put them up.
Make Some Money
Yes, I did make some money, mostly from petsetting.
Dye My Hair
Yes, it's now pink/purple again.
Go Swimming
Yes, I did this and it was really fun.
Spend More Time With Friends
I did lots of this. I've had friends visit twice this summer.
Learn Something New
Yeah. I've read more non-fiction and have started watching some more history/psychology videos on YouTube so I think I've learned a few new things.
So, that was my August. How was it for you all?

  1. I completely understand taking a break <3 Having blogging burnout is the WORST! But once you take a break and then come back it's so worth it! Because then you're filled with all this motivation and inspiration! Sorry I got a bit carried away there. Have an amazing time off!

    1. Thanks! I did! It was a really great reading month. Ahh, there are so many good characters on that show! Off the top of my head, maybe Emma or Ruby.

  4. Your achievements with all your summer goals are inspiring! I've honestly never considered making summer goals myself; maybe I'll try that this year. :)
