Tags

Hello! So, yes, I decided to do some more tags. So, first up, The Bedtime Book Tag.
A Book That Kept You Up All Night
Hmmmm, I don't think I've ever stayed up all night for a book, but the longest I've stayed up for a book is Everblaze, because I needed to return it to the library, because my family was moving.
A Book That Made You Scared to Sleep
None, really.
A Book That Made You Go to Sleep
Hmmm, well, I was bored by the original Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm. It was too long.
A Book That Left You Tossing and Turning All Night in Anticipation of its release
Legacy, for sure.

A Book That Has Your Dream Boyfriend/Girlfriend
Okay, so technically it started as a TV show, but there's a comic series, so that counts.
Kaylee from Firefly is pretty much my dream girl. She's sweet, cute, smart, pretty, fun, and just an all-around great girl.
Or Karen, who, again, is technically from the book I'm writing about her. No idea why, but I've always had a bit of a crush on her.
A Book That Would Be Your Worst Nightmare to Live In
Definitely The Hunger Games, for obvious reason.
A Book That Reminds You Of Night Time
Probably Cinder. A good portion of the plot happens at night, and just look at the cover.
A Book That Had a Nightmareish Cliffhanger
The first book in The Missing series. Man, that ending.....
A Book You Actually Dreamed About
Hmmm, I had a brief dream about The Hunger Games [set in Ikea.....with Battlestar Galactica characters], so I guess that sort of counts.
A Book Monster You Wouldn't Want To Find Under Your Bed
Definitely a Dementor, or any of the monsters from Percy Jackson.
Diamond did an award post on her blog, www.ihave12ofaplan.wordpress.com. She didn't actually tag anyone, but some of the awards did look like fun.
This next one is also about books.
This one is called The Avid Reader Award.

My Five Favorite Books
Okay, so this is just my five favorite book series, because I read more of those. My favorite individual books are The Last Summer of the Garrett Girls, and Quantum.
1: Percy Jackson
Okay, so, first of all, this is the book that really got me into reading, and it has great characters, and I reread it all the time.
2: Keeper of the Lost Cities
KOTLC is an amazing series. Actually, my sister read it first, then said it was really good, so I decided to try it. The characters and worldbuilding are excellent, and the writing itself is great.
3: Wings of Fire
First off, DRAGONS! Also, great characters, and a very good adventure storyline.
4: The Lunar Chronicles
This series is amazing. All of the books are great, and there's a large fanbase in the blogger community, so there's lots of people to talk to about it.
5: Maximum Ride series
So....this series is a little weird, but it's very fast paced, and exciting. And very sci-fi-y.
The Questions
Favorite book genre?
Probably sci-fi or fantasy, but I also love mystery, action/adventure, thrillers, sometimes contemporaries, a few classics, Westerns [or I would like them if I'd read more. I like it as a movie genre, though], and sometimes contemporaries. I like everything, I guess.
If you could meet any author, who would it be?
Probably James Patterson, because he makes lots of pop-culture references in his books, and almost all of his books are bestsellers, so I'd ask for tips.
If you could go inside a book world for a day, where would it be?
The KOTLC world is pretty cool. As is the Percy Jackson world.
Do you like comic books? If so, what is your favorite comic?
Yes, I do. I read a really good Darth Vader one, so maybe that one. I also have a feeling I would like the Six comic book series because she's my favorite BSG Cylon.
Book or e-book?
I don't have a strong opinion on this one. Maybe e-books, because they take up less space, which is good if you're traveling [or share a room].
How many books do you read each year?
Ooh, I don't actually know. I'm guessing about 60-70, counting rereads.
What is the most adventurous book you have ever read?
Probably Wings of Fire.
The slowest book you have ever read?
Hmmmm.....I don't usually read slow books, so I can't think of one.
Do you like to ship other characters together?
Sometimes. Not very often, though.
How long does it take you to read a normal-sized chapter book?
About 1-4 days. I'm a pretty fast reader.

What is something huge you've accomplished that when you look back on, you're incredibly proud of?
Probably my stories. Whichever one I've finished writing at the moment.
Something you absolutely have to do before you die?
Okay, I have a list:
-Publish a book
-Get a black belt in Taekwando
-Learn how to ride a motorcycle
-Go to Comic Con
Biggest regret in the past year/month/your entire life?
I don't really know........uh, maybe not being consistent with blogging? I don't have a whole lot of regrets [which is probably a good thing].
What is something you admire that other people can do, but you can't?
Probably being good with kids. Especially little kids. I have no desire to have kids, or take care of them, but it's impressive that other people can be so patient with them. Also, cake decorating. Like, how can you make it so pretty?
Go-to outfit?
Oh, that's a hard one. Ummmmm, probably some simple jewelry, and a T-shirt with shorts/jeans/skirts, or a sundress. And basically whatever shoes I find first, so tennis shoes, heels, or boots. And I usually just wear my hair down or in a ponytail [because that's the only hairstyle I can do, but shhhh]. I guess I don't really have a go-to outfit.
What does your dream room look like?
Meh. I haven't given much thought to it. Probably just a small and simple room, with space for my pets, electronics [a lot of my book and movie library is digital, plus how could I blog without my laptop?], clothes and shoes [y'know, the essentials], and my dolls. Oh, and a bed.
What is the first thing you would do if you were the opposite gender?
The same things I'd normally do, I guess.
Favorite song to jam to in the car?
Okay, I'm picking a few
Girl on Fire-Glee
Mine-Glee
Get Up-Van Halen
Fat Bottomed Girls-Queen
Girls Like Girls-Hayley Kiyoko [I love that song so much]
What moment in your life would you love to go back and re-live?
A road trip, and any of my taekwando classes. It's so fun, and our teacher is really good, and the kids are nice.
Where would you absolutely love to be right now?
2517, on a Firefly-class transport ship. Anybody get that reference?

The Questions
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Pizza. It's my favorite food, and, hypothetically, you could put anything on a circle-shaped crust, and call it pizza.
Have you ever had a nickname? What was it?
Probie. You'll get it if you've watched NCIS.
Aside from necessities, what one thing could you not go a day without?
I could go without anything, but it'd be hard to spend a day without books or writing, or TV.
In the evening, would you rather play a game, visit a relative, watch a movie, or read?
Play a game or watch a movie. I read various times throughout the day, so it isn't exclusive to evenings.
Is there anything you wished would come back into fashion?
Not really. I just wear what I want, I don't really care about fashion.
Which of the five senses would you say is your strongest?
Taste, probably. Maybe hearing.
On a scale of 1-10 how funny would you say you are?
7 or 8 probably. Although, lots of times, nobody gets my jokes.
Who knows you the best?
Maybe either of my sisters? I don't know. I think everybody has things they'd be surprised to know about me.
Your worst pet peeve?
When people are excessively late to something. 5-10 minutes is understandable, but don't keep other people waiting. If you're running late, just tell people they can start without you?
Do you have a catchphrase you say often? If so, what is it?
I don't think so.
The Questions
What is your favorite junk food?
Hmmm, well, pizza, chips, hamburgers, french fries, donuts, brownies, cake, cookies, and that's about it.
Are you a tomboy or a girlie-girl?
Probably a mix of both. Maybe slightly more of a tomboy. Honestly, I'm more of a nerd than anything else.
What is your favorite post you have ever done?
None stands out as my favorite.
If you had one hour left to live, where would you live it?
At home, with my family, friends, and pets.
Comfort or uncomfortable fashion?
Comfort.
Yay, this award looks so cool.
Do you remember the first chapter book series that you read? What was it?
The Nancy Drew books, or the American Girl Samantha books.
What fandoms are you in?
Well. This will take awhile.
*clears throat*

What is your favorite book/book series?
See my list above.
What movie that is based on the book do you hate the most?
None, really. I haven't seen a lot of movie adaptations.
