November Recap

Well, it's December. December. DECEMBER!
How is that even possible? It's the last month of 2020. That's insane. And it means that it's time for my monthly recap.
Books I Read in November

I read twelve books this month, which is a lot for me. I mean, most of them were pretty short, but still.
Movies I Watched in November

So, during this month, my sisters and I did what we called 'Broadway Night', where we did a bunch of different songs from musicals, and I'd already rewatched Mean Girls [because it's so fetch], so I decided that I might as well rewatch Heathers. Y'know, for good luck [and because it's a really good movie]. Believe me, I would've rewatched Beetlejuice, but I would've had to rent it, and all my money has to go towards Christmas presents. Speaking of Christmas, the Christmas Movie Extravaganza has started, and will continue until December 25th.
TV Shows Watched in November
Seasons Two and Three

Also, Seasons Two and Three
A bunch of random episodes.
Music I Listened to in November
I listened to a lot of music from a variety of different things, so here's a not-so-small handful of songs that I listened to a lot.
Jailhouse Rock-Riverdale Cast Version
The Buffy the Vampire Slayer theme song
The entire Descendants 3 soundtrack [why? I have no idea].
Yo Girl-Heathers: The Musical
Sexy-Mean Girls: The Musical
Burn-Hamilton
The Schuyler Sisters-Hamilton
Our Love Is God-Heathers: The Musical
Fight For Me-Heathers: The Musical
Dead Mom-Beetlejuice: The Musical
Girl Scout-Beetlejuice: The Musical
World Burn-Mean Girls: The Musical
What's Wrong with Me?-Mean Girls: The Musical
In and Do Me a Favor-The Riverdale Cast Version of Carrie: The Musical
And, we'll just stop there, or this will go on forever.
Events of November
-As I mentioned earlier, my sisters and I did 'Broadway Night'. We did a bunch of songs from different musicals, and it was a lot of fun. A lot of crazy stuff happened while we were practicing. Here's some of them
-That time when I started laughing hysterically during a song, and couldn't stop
-That time when my sister, Marie's shoe fell off during a dance, and she had to finish a song with one high-heel on, and one off
-That time when Amber kept making funny faces to try and make me laugh
-That time when Amber hit herself with a croquet mallet during one of our Heathers songs.
-That time when Marie tried to teach Amber and I how to waltz. We messed up a lot.
-Aside from Broadway Night, the great room-redecorating of October/November 2020 went very well.
-Archery! I actually got to use my archery set a lot, and it's a ton of fun.
-Thanksgiving! Ours was very calm, and a lot of fun, with tons of food. Everybody just did a wide variety of stuff, then ate Thanksgiving dinner, Marie and I played snowquet [you know, croquet in the snow?], and then had pie.
-After Thanksgiving, we got out all the Christmas stuff. Our tradition is to get all of it out after Thanksgiving.
-Writing! So I didn't officially do NaNo this year, but I did a lot of writing this month. Until a few days ago, that is. Hopefully I can get out of my slump this month.
Wow, I didn't realize this month was so jam-packed until I wrote this all down.
I had a great time this month, though.
So, what did you do this November? And, Happy December, by the way.

Comments

  1. I have read some books but I didn't see any movies like you have nor did I watched any shows either. Archery sounds interesting, I had always wanted to learn but I fear I don't have the upper strength for it. I don't celebrate Christmas but I like the holiday.

    Have a lovely December.

  2. They're all good movies and shows. I'd recommend them all, but it really depends on what genres you like.
It is really interesting and fun. It's definitely a lot of work, but it gets easier.
    Thanks! You too.

  8. It was! I had a blast.
Oh, that's so hard. I loved all of them. Sexy, Stop, and Say My Name, and Candy Store were the most fun, but I'd Rather Be Me and Beautiful were also great. And Home. I just loved all of them, to be honest.
    Thanks! You too.
