The 100 Questions Tag [again]
Hi, everybody! So today I'll be doing the 100 Questions Tag again. I've done it before, and it's really fun, and I'm really bored, so I decided to do it again. Which means that you guys get to learn a bunch of random facts about me, yayyyyyy. I'm just gonna go ahead and start, because this will take awhile.
The Basics
What's your name?
McKayla.
Any nicknames or aliases?
I have a few nicknames from my siblings. My sister, Marie, calls me Veronica. It's a long story, but, basically, she's a lot like Betty Cooper from Riverdale, so I started calling her Betty, so she started calling me Veronica, since my personality is similar-ish to Veronica Lodge. It's a pretty name, so I don't mind the nickname.
Your gender?
Female.
Your star sign?
I'm a Scorpio, which I kind of like.
How old are you?
Somewhere between 0 and 90.
Just kidding [I mean I am in between 0 and 90, but....y'know]. I'm a teenager, so I'm either 13, 19, or somewhere in between.
Your relationship status?
Single.
Any children?
No......because I'm single.
Any pets?
None that are technically mine, but Oreo, one of the family cats, likes me best. And then the other family pets include another cat, two dogs, three goats, and thirty-some chickens.
Any tattoos or piercings?
I have my ears pierced. Does that count?
What do you like about yourself?
My brave and adventurous personality, my creativity, my sarcastic weirdness, and my open-mindedness and ability to give people a second chance.
What do you dislike about yourself?
My temper, my impulsivity, my oversensitivity, my impatience, the fact that I get stressed over stupid things and the fact that I'm bad at math.
Righty or lefty?
Righty.
Lasts
The last thing you drank?
Water.
The last thing you ate?
Lunch. It's almost dinnertime, and I don't really want to go into the specifics of what I had. Anyway, lunch today was carrots, a sandwich, fruit, and then cheese 'cause I was really hungry.
Your last phone call?
I don't know....I'm not a huge fan of making phone calls.
Your last text message?
To my sister, Amber.
Your last email?
To one of my best friends who lives far away.
The last song you listened to?
Whose House Is This? from Mean Girls.
The last book you read?
The last book I finished was Wicked, which is the fifth book in the Pretty Little Liars series.
The last time you cried?
I don't remember the last time I actually cried, but I almost cried while listening to this song called Home [not the one from Beetlejuice, although that one made me almost cry once, too].
The last blog you read?
Forever and Everly.
The last person you spoke to?
My dad or my sister.
The last place you visited?
I had an orthodontist appointment a couple of weeks ago. I thiiiink that's the last place I visited. Y'know, with corona and all.
Your last holiday abroad?
I don't think I've ever had a holiday abroad. It sounds fun, though.
Your Beliefs
Do you believe in God?
Yes!
Do you believe in Santa Claus?
Not really. However, there's this Librarians episode, where Santa gives hope to people who need it, and I like to think that could be true.
Do you believe in ghosts?
Not really, but there's probably still spirits or something like that. Soooo, kind of.
Do you believe in aliens?
Yeah. I mean, the galaxy is so big. It's hard to believe that our planet is the only one with life on it.
Do you believe in miracles?
Yes.
Do you believe in the power of positive thinking?
Yes.
Do you believe in love at first sight?
Maybe. I'm not counting it out yet.
Can money make you happy?
It can make you happy, but not long-term, and it can't make you completely satisfied.
Would you describe yourself as a feminist?
Yes. There are some parts of modern-day feminism that I don't agree with, but I'd still consider myself a feminist.
Right Now
Are you eating anything right now?
Nope.
Are you drinking anything right now?
No....
What are you listening to right now?
My sister, Marie, has Christmas music on, so that's what I'm listening to.
What are you thinking about right now?
This blog post.
What are you waiting for right now?
Nothing, really. I mean, dinner, kind of.
What are you most excited about right now?
Christmas.
What's your biggest pet peeve right now?
When people feel a need to criticize things that other people enjoy.
What's your favorite thing right now?
Buffy the Vampire Slayer. 'Nuff said.
Also, Riverdale memes. Here are some of my favorites.
If you weren't answering these questions, what would you be doing right now?
Well, it's the evening, so I'd probably be writing.
Firsts
Your first best friend?
This girl that I met at a homeschool co-op when I was maybe five or six. She's still my best friend, which proves that some friendships do last.
Your first kiss?
Not yet.
Your first celebrity crush?
Oh, gosh. I don't really remember. One of my first celebrity crushes was Troian Bellisario, who played McGee's sister on an episode of NCIS [and she also played Spencer Hastings in the Pretty Little Liars TV show, which I should really get around to watching, since I like the books].
Also, Troian and I have the same birthday [day, not date], so I'm sure that played a role in that.
One of my more current ones is Eliza Dushku. Or, more specifically, Eliza Dushku as Faith in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
I mean, yes, Faith is kind of a bad girl and she doesn't usually make good decisions, but she is really, really pretty.
I also just like her as a character. She's interesting.
Your first holiday
Halloween. My birthday's just a few days before it.
It's October 28th, if anyone's interested.
Your first pet?
Uh, I had some fish when I was five.
Your first regret?
I don't remember.
Your first job?
Ummm, I've never had a technical job, but I've done some odd jobs for money, like babysitting and cleaning and yard work.
Your first childhood memory?
Same as the last time I did this: pushing around a plastic vacuum cleaner when I was two, I think.
Which Would You Choose?
Love or Money?
Can't I have both? Okay, fine, love.
Twitter or Facebook?
Twitter.
Hook-up or relationship?
Relationship.
Dogs or cats?
Both? But probably cats.
Coffee or Tea?
Neither, but probably coffee, because I could get one of the fancy kinds with lots of sugary stuff in it [what are those called? Lattes?].
Beer or wine?
Neither.
Sweet or savory?
Both.
Introvert or extrovert?
Introvert.
Vampires or werewolves?
They're tied [I love the supernatural, okay?], but maybe werewolves because they're underrated.
Seaside or countryside?
Countryside.
Summer or winter?
Summer. At least where I live, because winters are super cold, and last for a long time.
Books or movies?
Both. This time I'm really not choosing. You can't make me.
Horror or comedy?
Comedy.
A Few Random Questions to Finish Up
Do you wish you could change your past?
Kind of. I like my past, for the most part, but I would like to have done more things that involved going places before corona.
What's your dream job?
Writer. Fiction author would be preferable, but I'd love to do any sort of writing. Journalism, article writing, professional blogging, etc.
What's your guilty pleasure?
Incredibly shippy and fluffy fanfiction. Although, I don't know if that really counts as a guilty pleasure because I like it unashamedly. *shrugs* Oh, well.
What are you afraid of?
Losing my loved ones, dying before accomplishing anything, and going deep underwater [like scuba diving or in a submarine or something].
What was the first thing you wanted to be when you grew up?
A billionaire, a private detective, and a lion tamer.
If you could have any superpower what would it be?
Some type of fighting-related skill, probably.
Would you want immortality?
Probably.
If you could interview anyone alive or dead who would you choose?
Is fictional character an option? Okay, I'm just gonna pick one person who's alive and one person who's dead.
For someone who's alive......I'm not sure, maybe Barrett Wilbert Weed? I'm just gonna go with that. I mean, she's played two characters that I like in two musicals that I like, so I could ask her about that (and I have a massive crush on her, but that's beside the point).
And, as for someone who's dead....I'm going to go with Anne Frank. I read her diary a couple months ago, and it just struck me how much I could relate to the things she wrote. She really was remarkable, and was one of the many people that the world lost too soon.
Would you say you are happy?
For the most part. There are times when I'm not, but I think the good outweighs the bad.
What's one piece of advice you'd give to your younger self?
I'd tell myself to not get so stressed about things. I still need to remind myself about that, actually.
Where would you like to be in five year's time?
Um, I'd like to have a book published. That doesn't sound like much, but it's at least semi-realistic. And I'd like a pet of my own, and be closer to getting my black belt.
Well, that's all for today. Hope you guys enjoyed this. Do you agree with me on any of this?
This looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteIt is! It takes a long time, but it's a lot of fun.
DeleteIt was fun reading your answers to the questions, McKayla. :)
ReplyDelete-Quinley
I tagged you for the 12 Delights of Christmas tag: https://revealedintime.blogspot.com/2020/12/12-delights-of-christmas-tag.html
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteI like how you answer your age. I usually say I'm old enough to smoke, drink, drive, vote and sue someone all in the same day.
ReplyDeleteI also kind of tell myself from time to time not to stress about something, especially things I can't control. It's so easy to worry over something, harder not to.
These questions are kind of oddly specific but it's nice to read your answers.
Have a lovely day.
Thank you. I like that.
ReplyDeleteExactly. I worry a lot about things I can't control.
Yeah, lots of them were a little strange, but I enjoyed answering them.
Thanks! You too.
Loved reading your answers! I can't pick between vampires and werewolves either.
ReplyDeleteThose Riverdale memes are hilarious!
Thanks! How can anyone? They're both great.
ReplyDeleteThey really are. My sister, who doesn't like the show, even thinks they're funny.
