Q&A Answers

 Greetings, friends!
Well, it's official. As of today, I have been blogging for two years.
A few weeks ago, I asked all of you for questions, so I could do a Q&A, so today I'll be answering them.
First of all, thanks so much for all your questions, comments, etc. It means a lot to me.
Now, onto the questions. I'm a little bit excited if you couldn't tell already.
Violette's Questions
What movie can you not stand?
Please don't kill me, but......High School Musical.
Well, actually, I don't hate it or dislike it thaaaat much, but so many people called it the best DCOM ever, and I just didn't get the appeal [and I was in the target demographic, being a tween girl who loved musicals when I first watched it]. It's not bad, it's just.......
Did someone introduce you to any of your fandoms? Or did you find most of them on your own?
Both. If a blogger or one of my IRL friends recommends something to me, then I will try to watch/read it, but I have also found a fair number of my fandoms on my own. So, it depends.
Do you have any siblings [you don't have to answer if it's too personal]?
Yup. Two sisters [they're fraternal twins, which is pretty cool]. One of them even has a blog.
What's your favorite song right now?
I have a bunch, but ''First Burn'' from Hamilton, and ''Take Me or Leave Me'' and ''Time Warp'' from Glee [I mean, they're covers, but I've been listening to the Glee versions.

Do you have any other hobbies besides writing and blogging and such?
Why, yes. I really love reading, watching movies/shows, and listening to music [I mostly listen to music while doing other things, though, so I'm not sure if that counts]. I'm also fairly athletic and like traditional sports, martial arts and things like archery, skateboarding and roller skating. I also occasionally play video games.
Are you on Spotify?
Yup! Blogger isn't letting me link my account, but I can share playlists on here.
Elizabeth's Questions
Have you ever had an experience or interaction [or anything you want really] that sounds fake, but actually happened?
Well, a few years ago my sisters and I were playing mystery [a favorite game of ours] with our dad [he was being the villain] and he had just tied us up [with jump ropes, of course. It was safe], in the garage, and he was waiting outside the back door for us. After we had gotten untied, we were wondering how to escape without the ''bad guy'' catching us, and I noticed that the garage door was partially open, so I rolled under it, and convinced my sisters to, and then we all went up to our neighbor's trampoline, and waited for him to find us.
It was a blast, but definitely sounds made up.
Oh, and, also, there's the fact that I have a scar on the left side of my forehead, so when I say that, it DEFINITELY sounds made up.
Do you have a favorite cryptid [if you have an interest in cryptids]? If not, do you have a favourite kind of monster/creature?
I don't know a lot about cryptids, but because of that question, I've been reading about them online for the past few minutes.
I would say that cactus cats are my favorites, so far. Because, cats.
Here's a picture that someone photoshopped. If they existed, they probably wouldn't be this cute, but I can dream, can't I?
If you could trade places or hang out with a fictional character for a day, who would you choose and why [what would you choose]?
I think I'd choose to switch places with a fictional character for a day, so I could get to hang out with a bunch of different characters in their world.
After thinking about it, I think I'd want to switch places with pretty much anyone from Warehouse 13. I think that would be a really cool job, and there's such a great team dynamic. I dunno who I'd switch with, though, because I love them all.
So, I guess I'd choose to hang out with one of them, and then ask if I could work with them for the day. I'd probably chose Pete, because he seems most likely to agree.
If you could live in any fictional town, where would you live?
Probably Storybrooke, the town in Once Upon A Time.
Or maybe Hawkins, the town from Stranger Things [sure, I'd probably die, but it'd be cool].
If you could throw a masquerade, what are five fictional characters you would invite?
Anne Shirley, Jo March, Claudia Donovan, Sherlock Holmes, and Lorne [from Angel, in case you're not familiar with the show].
Is there an actor/actress that will make you watch something just because they're in it?
Almost everybody who has been in something that I like. I'm not picky.
Do you have a favorite fairytale/myth?
I have many. I've always liked Beauty and the Beast and Rapunzel. There was this kind of obscure one that I loved, too, but the name is escaping me at the moment.
What are your current fictional crushes? Did you have any childhood fictional crushes?
See, this is hard for me, because I tend to like characters based on their personality/story arc as opposed to their physical appearance, so it's hard to differenciate 'crush' from just 'really, really like this character' but I managed to come up with a few, and then sort of went crazy.
Okay, so definitely Faith from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
I mean, yes, she's one of my favorites because I loooove her character and story arc, but, also, it's Eliza Dushku, so, yeah.
And, also, Tara from Buffy, though I'm not sure if that falls into 'crush' or 'I want my future partner to be like her' category.
that smile, though.
I'm sure there's more, but I don't want to overwhelm you all.
No childhood crushes are coming to mind at the moment, but I'm sure I had some.
Quinley's Questions
Do you plan to or are you participating in Camp NaNoWrimo or NaNoWrimo?
I haven't so far, but I might in the future. Maybe this year even.
What's your favorite season?
Fall! Definitely fall.
What's your current WIP about?
Four sisters who gain elemental powers, and are being trained to control their powers to fight a greater evil, all while dealing with the afternath of their parents' deaths.
What inspired it?

What's your favorite TV show?
At the moment it's a tie between Stranger Things and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I'm also find of Parks and Rec, Glee, Firefly, Warehouse 13, The Librarians, and Angel.
What's your least favorite TV show?
Any reality TV show. It just really bugs me how it's being sold as 'real' but it isn't, and I always go crazy trying to figure out what was scripted and what wasn't.
Are you on Goodreads?
Nope!
Skye's Questions?
What is something you wish more people knew about [can be anything]?
The Incorrect Quotes Generator. Katie introduced me to it, and now I've wasted countless hours on it, and am firmly convinced that it is the best thing ever.
What is something you're passionate about?
So much. I don't know how to not be passionate about things.
I guess I'd say stories, in general. And also well-written diversity in fiction.
Sam's Questions
Are there any songs that you've listened to so many times that you don't like them anymore, even though you used to love them?
''Candy Store.''
Blame my sister, who plays it constantly.
Although I've done this with many songs. I actually did it with my entire Glee playlist several times.
My music process goes like this:
-Listen repeatedly to one song
-Get tired of it
-Add it to my Spotify playlist and then just listen to it when it plays.
Have you ever done something incredibly adventurous and probably crazy?
Driven a wagon down a super steep hill. It did not end well.
What's your favorite biome?
Type of biome or specific biome?
Deserts are my favorite kind, though.
If you could only drink one drink for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Water. Because I'm Basic. But I also just really like water.
Would you rather only read one book for the rest of your life, or never be able to be reread a book?
Never be able to reread a book. It's be sad, but less sad than never reading a new book, and I have a pretty good memory.
BlogDad's questions
If you could enter one book what would it be? And what character would you be?
I'd be the main character from the Land of Stories series [I don't remember his name, because it's been forever since I've read it], so that then I could enter multiple books.
See, I can be sneaky when I want to.
If you could time travel when and where would you go?
I'm not sure. I might want to go to the future.
Well, this sounds silly, but I'd like to go back to when my favorite movies were released, so I could see them in the theater.
I'd also travel back to the '80s/'90s, and times way further back, like Ancient Greece, but probably only for a day or two, and for research purposes.
What super power would you want?
Maybe some kind of super fighting ability? That or telekinesis.
In a zombie apocalypse, what three characters would you want on your survival team?
Hmm.
Well, Buffy Summers because she has wicked fighting skills, Wanda Maximoff because she's super powerful, and......I don't know who else? Maybe Katniss Everdeen.
Rachel's Questions
What's your favorite period drama?
I'm not sure if I have a favorite. I haven't seen enough. I do like the 2019 Little Women and the 1995 Pride and Prejudice, though.
Your favorite song at the moment?
Answered above. It's probably ''Take Me or Leave Me'' though.
To which countries have you been?
I've never been outside the U.S, although I'd definitely like to do some traveling. Preferably sooner rather than later.
What's your favorite season of the year?
Fall.
MovieCritic's Questions
If you were a Disney character who would you want to be? Which one are you actually most like?
Okay, do Pixar movies count? Because, if so, I'd want to be Merida from Brave because it's set in Scotland, and I love Scotland. Or maybe I'd want to be Belle because I like Beauty and the Beast?
The character I'm most like is probably Rapunzel. And not just because we're both blondes.
Name a bad character or a villain who you want to see redeemed?
Okay, so it wouldn't necessarily have to be a redemption arc, but I wish the Buffy/Angel writers would've brought closure to Drusilla's story. I mean, they did it with Angel, Spike and Darla, so why couldn't they have done it with her? Although that wouldn't have had to be a redemption arc, just a closure arc. Also, it would've been cool if she was on either Buffy or Angel for longer because she's awesome.
I also would've liked to see a redemption arc for Heather Duke from Heathers.
I mean, I get it, it's a movie and a musical, so there wouldn't be a lot of time, but, again, I want her story to have closure. And I feel like she has the potential to be good or at least not bad. Maybe?
Do you have any pets? If not, what kind of pet would you want?
I don't have any pets that are exclusively mine, but my family has two dogs [a chocolate lab/pitbull mix named Luna and a great Pyrenees named Titan] and two cats [a calico/tabby mix named Spicy, and a tuxedo cat named Oreo].
If I could get another pet it would probably be another cat, to be honest. Or maybe a rabbit.
If you were a teacher at Hogwarts, what subject would you teach?
Defense Against the Dark Arts. I think it's really interesting, plus I would want to help the kids learn to defend themselves. Also, they need a teacher that lasts longer than a year.
What was the last song you listened to, and what did you think of it?
Actually, I was just watching Glee, and I think the last song they did in the episode I was watching was ''Tik Tok.''
It's not my favorite song, but they did a good job covering in, it's catchy, and I like that Brittany gets to sing lead.
Which story [book/movie/TV show/other] disappointed you the most and why?
''Of Fire and Stars'' by Audrey Coulthurst.
It wasn't a bad book, per se. I just had really high expectations for it, but it was just super stereotypical [not just the characters, but the plot and world], and I don't feel like the characters were very well fleshed out, so, yeah, not exactly one I'd recommend.
Which story [book/movie/TV show/other surprised you the most?
Oh, that's a hard one. Maybe Glee?
I didn't really expect to like it at all when I first started watching it, but then it kind of hit me hard how much I could relate to the characters and their struggles and all that. And now it works well as a comfort show, so it was good all around.
What is a food you refuse to eat?
I realize I'm making myself sound like a five-year-old, but I can't stand broccoli. For me, it's not the taste, it's the texture. It just feels weird in my mouth.
So, that's it. This was a lot of fun. Thank you all for asking such fantastic questions.

  1. These are all great questions and answers!! I was meaning ask some questions but I always got busy the moment I sat down! Can I ask a question here? (Well that is a question it’s self😂) Are you part of the lgbtqia+ community? If this is too personal just ignore it😂

    3. Meeting bloggers similar to you is always fun.
Sometimes I forget that not everybody likes books as much as I do, since most of the bloggers I follow do.

  2. Happy Blogoversary! Love First Burn and fall. If you became the Defense of Dark Arts teacher there's like a 98% chance that you'll die though. XD

  3. I've been excited for this! Happy Blogoversary!!
The cactus cat is so cute.
I'm curious what the obscure fairytale or myth you can't remember the name of was now XD
The 'did not end well' part to you mentioning driving a wagon is definitely not ominous at all lol
Honestly same to sometimes having a hard time telling if you have crush on a character or if you just really like them as a character.
    Love the gifs!

Yeah, I am, too. I remember it was about a girl, who was kind of like Cinderella (because everyone was so horrible to her), except she had a doll (which I think was magic), and she had a really weird name that started with a V (or something like that). That's pretty much all I remember.
      Haha, definitely not.
Yeah, it can definitely be hard to tell. I mean, it could be both.
      Thanks!

  5. I should see the sequels to HSM to get all of the references people make all the time, but I wasn't into the first one.

Great characters to invite to a masquerade! Which version of Sherlock Holmes is your favorite?

It would be awesome to be like Conner from The Land of Stories and go into as many books as you wanted to!

I can definitely see you as Rapunzel, Merida, and Belle! Congrats on blogging for two whole years!

    1. The second one is a little bit better, in my opinion, but I never saw the third one.
Thanks! Probably the one from the Sherlock TV show. I might have seen the movie version with Robert Downey Jr., but it was a long time ago, so I don't remember it very well.
Definitely! Ah, Connor, that was his name (it's been too long since I last read those books).
Ok, good, so it wasn't something I just made up in my head about myself.
Thanks! It's been so much fun.

The Incorrect Quotes Generator is the best, but also such a time-suck, I have to keep myself away. XD
Your music process is almost exactly like mine. XD Why do we do this to ourselves.
