The Buffy the Vampire Slayer Tag

 Buffy the Vampire Slayer is one of my all-time favorite TV shows, so I decided to make a tag for it. 

The Rules

-Just answer all the questions and link back to my blog. That's pretty much it.

The Questions

Who's your favorite of the original four Scooby Gang members [Buffy, Willow, Xander, Giles]?

Oh, that's so hard [why do I do this to myself?]]. I think I'd have to go with Buffy. I deeply love Giles, I really like Willow....and I go on and off about Xander, but it just wouldn't be Buffy the Vampire Slayer without Buffy.

I really do have to give Giles an honorable mention, though. His dialogue is the best, and he's British and bookish and a great father figure to Buffy.

Willow's pretty great, too, to be honest. I really liked her. 

Who's your favorite Scooby Gang member that wasn't in the original group [ie. Cordelia, Oz, Angel, Spike, Riley, Tara, Anya, Dawn]?

Ummmmmm, well, it's not Riley. 

I really love Spike. He gets so much development as a character, and he's just incredibly entertaining. 

I also really like Anya. I thought she was hilarious, and I wish they would have done more with her. I'd always be down for more Anya-centric episodes.

I really like Tara, too. I know a lot of people think she was boring, but I thought she was sweet, and I liked her presence within the group. Also, she's a precious cinnamon roll who deserves everything good, so *hugs*.

Oh, and also Oz. Because he's Oz.

Favorite non-Scooby characters?

Mmmmm, that's hard. Well, Faith, obviously. I'm a sucker for morally grey characters, so that aspect of her character fascinates me. Plus, Eliza Dushku's pretty face [because I'm shallow].

I also liked Clem and Halfrek, and Harmony. 

What are your favorite episodes [I know, I'm evil]?

Mmmm, The Body, Fear, Itself, Hush, Halloween, Dopplegangland, I Only Have Eyes For You, Chosen, Family, Once More, With Feeling, Who Are You?, Bad Girls, The Gift, The Wish, Something Blue, Triangle, Pangs, and Earshot.

Favorite ships [canon or non-canon]?

Willow and Oz are adorable, and I love them together. 

Willow and Tara are also super cute, though, and I love them, too. 

Really, Willow just had the best relationships.

Favorite villains?

She gets way more of a focus on Angel, but I really love Darla. She was smart enough and bad enough to be a serious threat, but she was also....fairly likable.

I like Drusilla, too. She's just so insane and out of it, and I love that. Also, she's a definite INFP. You can't convince me otherwise.

Favorite song from ''Once More, With Feeling''?

Probably ''Under Your Spell.'' ''I'll Never Tell'' and ''Walk Through the Fire'' are great, too, though.

Favorite outfits?

To be fair, I'm going to try and include a few from each character.

Hmm, for Buffy I like all of these.

I like a few of Cordelia's outfits, too.

Willow had less outfits that I liked, but there were a few of hers that I found cute.

As for Dawn, I think these outfits of hers were cute.

Have you seen Angel? What did you think of it?

I've seen the first three seasons, and, so far, I have mixed feelings on it. I like parts of it, and I dislike parts of it. I don't like it as much as Buffy, but it's good.

What are your unpopular Buffy opinions?

*clears throat*

I like Dawn. Sure, she could be annoying, but I either liked or didn't mind her for most of the show.

Beer Bad isn't as bad of an episode as people make it sound. Sure, it's cheesy, but it's also entertaining.

Season Four is not a bad season. The stuff with Adam and the Initiative was kind of dumb, but I like season as a whole.

I don't know if this is controversial, but I don't really have a strong opinion on whether Buffy should be with Angel or Spike. I like them both, and I'd be fine if she dated either one of them. I just don't want her to date Riley.

Tara didn't have a horrible sense of style. Some of her outfits were not the best, but I thought most of them were fine [maybe this just means that I have a terrible sense of style, but, eh, whatever].

Anya is underrated as a character. I know people like her, but I don't feel like she's appreciated enough.

Similarly, Triangle is an underrated episode.

Which character do you think should have had a spin-off?

Faith. I would've happily watched a show all about her. I would've happily even read a fanfiction series all about her [is there one? If so, please tell me what it is]. 

I would also have loved to see a spin-off about Giles during his Ripper days. 

What is your personal ranking of the seven seasons?

Season Five

It was one of the darker seasons, but still kept some levity and humor, and I loved the inclusion of Dawn, and I liked Glory as a villain.

Season Three

And this is the season where Faith is introduced! And I love her. I also liked the plot with her and the Mayor, in addition to a lot of the one-off episodes [The Zeppo, Dopplegangland, The Wish, etc]. 

Season Two

Spike and Dru's first season! Also, the Angelus arc is great! Again, a lot of the one-off episodes are great, and I just really love the high school vibes in the first three seasons.

Season Four

So, I don't like Adam as a villain at all and I hated the way they wrote Oz off the show [the first one is the worst. The second one has its issues, but...the ending is great], but I love so many of the individual episodes, like Hush. And I like Tara, and the whole ''college vibe'' this season has.

Season One

This season is a little bit cheesy, but I still really liked it. The main reason it's here is because, while there isn't much I dislike about this season, there isn't a lot I love about this season either.

Season Seven

I liked the main plot, but the characters ended up being kind of flat in this season [probably because of all the stuff that happened in Season Six].

Season Six

I did really like Once More, With Feeling, but that's about it. Look, I love some angst, but this season just felt.....a little too dark, I loathed Warren, and there was probably more that I disliked about this season, but I haven't watched it in awhile, so there's not much else that I'm remembering.
