Bones Season One Review

Hello! So, I recently started watching Bones and just finished season one, so I wanted to talk about it.
Bones is a 2005 procedural about a forensic anthropologist named Temperance Brennan [Emily Deschanel], her FBI partner, Seely Booth [David Boreanaz] about their various crime solving adventures, and Brennan's search to find out what happened to her parents. The supporting cast includes Michaela Conlin, T.J Thyne and Eric Millegan.
My Thoughts:
Bones is a very fun show. The characters are all really interesting. Brennan and Booth have really great chemistry, and they both have interesting personalities that contrast really well. Temperance is more academic and stoic, though with a strong-willed fiery streak, and Booth is more of a ''normal'' guy with better social skills and a more goofy, mild-mannered personality. They're both crazy stubborn, though. The supporting characters are also great-----there's Angela, Temperance's best friend, who is equally as smart [while Brennan figures things out from the victims' bones, Angela reconstructs what the victim would have looked like], and is the most ''normal'' of the team. She's artistic, assertive, stylish and the most in tune with her emotions. There's also Hodgins------a brilliant scientist and conspiracy theorist, and Zach, Brennan's intern, who is very smart and very socially awkward.
The crimes are also very interesting. There were a lot of mysteries that were interesting that I didn't solve. There were also a lot of great individual episodes-----my favorite is the one where Brennan loses her memory and is implicated in a crime.
Also, it's so weird to see David Boreanaz not playing Angel. Also, it's funny because Booth and Angel are very different.
The ongoing mystery of what happened to Brennan's parents is very interesting.
The best comparison I could make is to Castle------the main characters are a man and woman, where the woman is more serious and the man is more goofy, one of the main characters in each show is a writer, and it's a crime show.
So, have you seen Bones? Do you want to? What's your favorite mystery/crime show?
